💎Points Farming

Higher base APY isn't the only benefit for depositing funds on Wise Lending. Lenders earn additional APY from points!

Depositors on Wise Lending get the luxury of earning high APY on their blue chip cryptos without bearing the additional risk of direct exposure to yield farms. Borrowers take on that risk when they use one of our integrated strategies, as their positions would get liquidated before any de-peg situation affected borrowed funds (ex: if Etherfi staked ETH de-pegged from ETH).

The borrowers reward for taking on this risk is higher raw APY, and the additional airdrop farming that naturally occurs from these yield farms (Etherfi points, Satoshi points, etc.) is actually given to the lenders.

Etherfi Points:

Anyone who deposits ETH on Wise Lending will earn their share of Etherfi points being farmed by borrowers. We use the Pendle LP which is currently getting a 2X Etherfi points multiplier. There is nothing that will modify the points you are earning relative to others besides depositing more ETH or having ETH deposited without withdrawing it for a longer time span than others. Partial withdraws will only cause you to stop earning points on the amount that was withdrawn. We may also add new ETH farms such as Kelp DAO or Renzo in which case users will earn a combination of points.

Satoshi Points:

Anyone who deposits stable coins on Wise Lending will earn their share of Satoshi points (Ethena protocol) being farmed by borrowers. We use the Pendle LP which is currently getting a 30X Satoshi points multiplier. There is nothing that will modify the points you are earning relative to others besides depositing more stable coins or having stable coins deposited without withdrawing them for a longer time span than others. Partial withdraws will only cause you to stop earning points on the amount that was withdrawn.

Wise Points:

Both ETH and stable coins depositors earn Wise points ON TOP of other points. We use a slightly different way to track ETH vs stable coin deposits, but the value of the points are generally the same for the same USD amount of ETH or stable coins. Season 1 of farming Wise Points will end after the current VC seed round has been filled, at which point 10% of the VC funds will be used to purchase WISE for the airdrop. Wise points will have many additional modifiers that can be activated in order to increase the rate of your Wise points farming. These will include using a referral link from a sponsor, and various collaborations with other communities to activate better Wise points modifiers.
